Sorry it has been soooo long since my last entry. The move is behind us now and we are completely settled in. I love my new house and neighborhood. We hosted our first get-together at our new place on the 4th of July. We invited both of our families for a big cookout. There were 16 of us and boy did we have fun. We started with a huge meal (I always go a little overboard when it comes to food) and then we played some games. At first some of the guys wanted to just lay on the couch and "digest" their meal, but using my great art of sisterly bossing I was able to get everyone to play. We had a huge game of Win-Lose-or-Draw with boys vs. girls. It was a riot. We had a big easel with paper and everyone had a turn to draw. Unfortunately the guys won:-( So we gals decided to play another game to redeem ourselves - "Guesstures." This is a really fun game were instead of drawing you are acting out clues but with a short time limit. This game was histerical. But...the guys won again!!! Next time we gals may have to cheat...j/k.

All in all it was a great day and a wonderful way to kick-off our new life here in Canton. There is nothing better than being around those you love.

It has been wonderful having Bill around every day. He has been such an incredible help getting everything put away and I have really loved spending so much time with him. Now that the dreaded dissertation is done he has a lot more time to spend with Will and me and we are taking advantage of it. Will bought Bill a bicycle with a baby seat attached for father's day and the two have been going on a lot of bike rides. Will LOVES it. Bill is so good with him and I just love watching them together.

Last night one of my best friends got married. The wedding was lovely and we had a great time. All of my old college friends were there and it was nice to sit and catch up on what is going on in everyones' lives. My parents were invited too so they came to the wedding and then took Will and left so Bill and I could enjoy the reception. I don't really think babies belong at receptions so it worked out perfectly. My folks love spending time with Will so they took him out to dinner with some friends of theirs and then took him back to our house and got him to sleep.

Well I guess I have rambled on long enough. I will try to start updating my site on a regular basis now that things have calmed down. Take care.
