Guess what everyone? We made an offer on a house today! They have until Monday to let us know if they accept it. I am so excited. I really like this house. I'll tell you about it....

When you first pull up you are struck by the beautiful landscaping. Lots of flowers and ground coverings. It has: large formal living room, beautiful dining room, big updated kitchen, gorgeous family room with a large stone fireplace, 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths (with a new jet tub), very large screened in back porch and a wooden back deck leading into the lovely yard, nice storage shed in the back yard, big finished basement with fireplace, and a two car attached garage. The main thing is that it is in "move in" condition! I will let you know if they accept our offer. Now all I have to do is sell MY house:-)

Today is a day of celebration for me! I have been cancer free for one whole year!! Exactly one year ago today was my amputation and so far all of my scans have come back clean. Some people might think today would be a sad day for me - a reminder of what I lost - but they're wrong. Today I celebrate all that I HAVE and not what I don't. I have life...what a blessing!

I had such a nice visit this weekend with Lisa and Brion! It was great to catch up on everything that is going on in each others' lives. They are very busy right now planning their upcoming wedding. They asked me to do a reading at the ceremony. I feel very honored to get to be a part of their special day:-)

Today we had our first "major" accident. Will was walking around and lost his balance. He fell back on his tush which normally would be no big deal...unfortunatley he bit his tongue. He started screaming - I saw blood and about freaked out!! My first reaction was to rush him to the emergency room, but I remained calm (well, kind of) and after only a minute it stopped bleeding and he calmed down. I realized it was only a tiny nick but still - yikes! What a day!
